Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) celebrated another milestone in academic excellence after achieving a 100% passing rate in the May 2026 Dentists Licensure Examination, with one of its graduates earning the top spot nationwide.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 796 out of 896 examinees successfully passed the licensure examination administered by the Board of Dentistry in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao this May 2026.
Leading AUP’s successful examinees was Dr. Nicole P. Joaquin, who emerged as the Top 1 passer in the national examination. The university recognized her achievement as a testament to dedication, perseverance, and God’s guidance throughout her academic journey.
Alongside Joaquin, several AUP graduates also successfully earned their licenses as dentists, including Dr. Dave Cherubim B. Allida, Dr. Milger Joy C. Arquiza, Dr. Candee Charlou E. Bulahan, Dr. Joy Bernadette B. Cortado, Dr. Kathleen Andrea S. Manuel, Dr. Karissa D. Pajares, Dr. Veronica Mae P. Sy, and Dr. Gabriel Genesis P. Trono.
The university highlighted that its overall passing rate surpassed the national passing rate of 88.84%, reflecting AUP’s continued commitment to quality education and Christ-centered training in the healthcare profession.
This marks another significant achievement for the university’s dentistry program. In 2024, Adventist University of the Philippines also produced the topnotcher in the Dentistry Licensure Examination through Dr. Beamor Dante Carranza, who garnered a rating of 84.40%.
AUP officials expressed gratitude to God for the achievement and commended the graduates, faculty members, families, and supporters who contributed to the success of the institution’s dentistry program.
The accomplishment also underscores the Adventist commitment to holistic education, equipping students not only with professional competence but also with compassion and a spirit of service as they prepare to minister to communities through healthcare.
“To God be the glory,” the university stated in its congratulatory message honoring the new licensed dentists.
