      SSD Strategic Slogans: SSD REAPS

The mission of the Church has always been clear; yet, fulfilling that mission requires intentional action, painstaking effort, and intense prayer. As followers of Christ, we are called not only to believe but to engage, to move beyond comfort into commitment. Reach, Expand, Advance, Proclaim, Seek, Sake, and Disciple should capture the heartbeat of every devoted Adventist of the Southern-Asia Pacific Division. According to Theodore Levterov, General Conference Spirit of Prophecy Associate Director, "Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. We need to be passionate about our mission in pointing people to Jesus Christ, and God will work miracles as precious souls accept salvation, resulting in a great number of baptisms.

SSD is enthusiastic to share the strategic slogans for the next quinquennium.

2026 - MissionReach26 means reaching people in SSD territory. This division is the birthplace of many religions and is home to around 700 million people. The field is vast and complex, yet we need to reach the people through friendship and an intimate relationship

2027 - MissionExpandOneVoice27 means enlarging the Territory of Influence. Once we reach out, we must also expand. The gospel was never meant to stay confined within one group or region. God calls His Church to expand its borders through OneVoice27, reaching approximately 200 million people within the SSD territory.

2028 - MissionAdvance28 means moving forward with purpose. The SSD field is challenging because a large part of this territory falls within the 10/40 window, but God’s call is to move forward. Just as Israel marched toward the promised land, so we must advance with faith, trusting that every step forward is grounded in the Bible and focused on the mission.

2029 - MissionProclaim29 is to lift up Christ as the hope of the world, through preaching, teaching, media, literature, and daily witness with boldness and urgency. The message must be articulated with conviction and lived with authenticity.

2030 - MissionSSD30 means pursuing the Lost with Love. Jesus came “to seek and to save that which was lost.” True mission seeks those who have wandered, those overlooked by society, and those who believe they are beyond redemption. The Church must be intentional in seeking souls.

These strategic slogans do not stand alone — they are woven together by one Spirit, one Church, and one mission. Elder Erton Kohler, the president of the Adventist world church, emphasized that “The Adventist church is rising powerfully for mission like the lamb in the book of Revelation, which fought against the dragon and was victorious.” Beloved delegates and members of the Adventist Church, let us renew our commitment to be bold in mission with urgency because victory is assured.
