New Assistant Treasurer for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division

Roni Manurung has been appointed as the new Assistant Treasurer for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD). Manurung has commendable knowledge in his new post, as well as a good track record in financial management. His appointment followed his acceptance of a call to serve in a greater sphere of influence within the organization.

Manurung's church experience has been distinguished by dedication and commitment. He began his career in the West Indonesia Union Mission from 2007 to 2010. He then was called to serve as an accountant in the Southern Asia-Pacific Division beginning in 2011 until 2015. His service was focused on mission and was also dedicated in utilizing his accounting skills to exhibit accountability in the finances of the church. His effort was recognized, and he was soon called back in 2015 for a responsibility with the West Indonesia Union Mission (WIUM) as the Chief accountant and Controller. Two years after, he was also assigned as the treasurer for Hope Chanel Indonesia.

Manurung made important contributions to West Indonesia Union Mission and Hope Channel Indonesia in establishing its financial stability and growth throughout his tenure there. His rigorous approach to financial management and a great eye for detail earned him his colleagues' respect and appreciation.

After several years of service in West Indonesia, Manurung was elected as the Treasurer for the Timor Leste Mission in 2021. Manurung’s contributions to this position were crucial. Despite various financial challenges to keep the mission’s operations, the mission was thriving and was able to keep up with its stability and growth.

Manurung's acceptance of the position of Assistant Treasurer for SSD demonstrates his unwavering commitment to his work and willingness to serve the organization in a greater capacity.

Francisco named as New Treasurer for the Timor Leste Mission

Following Ronnie's departure from the Timor Leste Mission, the organization has elected Vic June Francisco as the new treasurer. Francisco curently serves in the Pakistan Adventist Seminar and College as the Head of Business Department.  With the responsibility of maintaining the financial health and stability of the mission, Vic June Francisco's experience and expertise will be crucial in continuing the positive trajectory set by his predecessor.

The appointment of Ronnie Manurung as SSD's Assistant Treasurer and the election of Vic June Francisco as Timor Leste Mission's new treasurer represent a significant shift in the organization's financial leadership. Both individuals have the necessary competence and determination to carry out their respective roles effectively, ensuring a bright future for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division and the Timor Leste Mission.

Ronnie Manurung and Vic June Francisco have the support and good wishes of their colleagues as they begin on their new endeavours. They are confident in their ability to flourish in their positions and make significant contributions to the growth and development of the organisation as a whole.
