Southern Asia-Pacific Division welcomes new Adventist Mission director

Joni Roger Oliveira arrives at the Southern Asia-Pacific Division office for the first time two months after his election. Joni began his ministry as a chaplain in Curitiba, South Brazil, and quickly rose through the ranks, serving as an auxiliary pastor in two different districts. After his ordination, he served as a district pastor in Pirai do Sul and Vista Alegre, both in the Central Parana Conference in the South Union in Brazil. In 2013, he received a call to serve as the Youth and Pathfinder Ministry Director at the same conference.
