Southern Asia-Pacific Division Members Advance Global Mission Milestone for Hope Channel International

Members of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) are playing a vital role in an exciting milestone for Hope Channel International (HCI). The Singapore Conference headquarters will soon host a new server as part of HCI’s globally distributed, Adventist-owned digital content delivery network. This network, the first of its kind for the Adventist Church, represents a groundbreaking step in sharing the message of eternal hope.

Ryann Micua, director of IT for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, and the leadership of Singapore Conference have graciously partnered with HCI to make this possible. Their willingness to create a dedicated server room within their headquarters for this initiative reflects a deep commitment to the mission. This location is critical, as it provides coverage throughout Southeast Asia, extending even to parts of India and Australia.

How SSD Members Are Part of This Mission

The new infrastructure not only enhances global operations but also impacts viewers in Southeast Asia by ensuring fast and reliable access to live programming and on-demand streaming through Hope Channel platforms. By hosting this server, SSD is helping to support the digital backbone that empowers more than 80 Hope Channels worldwide to create, translate, and share Christ-centered content in over 100 languages.

From the selection of enterprise-grade hardware to the creation of automated deployment systems, every technical choice has been carefully designed to ensure reliability and ease for global IT teams. This innovative infrastructure not only supports the sharing of Christ-centered content but also prepares Hope Channel for future growth, enabling the global network to reach more people with the message of eternal hope. For a deeper look at the technology behind this milestone, read insights from Justin Woods, senior director of technology at HCI.

A Vision Fueled by Dedication

“The members of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division embody a spirit of service and commitment to sharing the gospel,” said Vyacheslav Demyan, president of Hope Channel International. “Their support for this initiative ensures that Christ-centered content will reach communities throughout Southeast Asia and beyond, bringing hope as we prepare for the soon return of Jesus Christ.”

This initiative is also a key step in achieving Hope Channel International’s vision of reaching one billion people with the message of eternal hope by 2030. Through their dedication, SSD members are helping to strengthen the foundation of mission outreach and ensure that this message of hope continues to transform lives.
