Philippine Publishing House Commits to Evangelistic Missions and Equipment Support for 2025

The board of trustees of the Philippine Publishing House (PPH) convened recently to decide on two hallmark initiatives that align with the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s mission to spread the gospel and support its institutions globally.

Evangelism Initiative in Visayas and Mindanao

In support of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division’s (SSD) Harvest 2025 Initiative, PPH committed to deploying 11 care groups of its workers and administrators to the Central and Southern regions of the Philippines in 2025. This evangelistic effort, as has been done in recent years, underscores PPH’s dedication to advancing the church’s mission of proclaiming the gospel and nurturing souls.

“These efforts are not just about employees preaching sermons but embodying Christ’s love in action,” said Pastor Leonardo Heyasa Jr., PPH president. “Our workers and administrators are ready to actively participate in the church’s grand vision of a harvest of souls.”

The Harvest 2025 Initiative aims to expand evangelistic efforts across SSD territories, focusing on unreached and underserved areas. PPH’s involvement will ensure that these regions receive the spiritual nurture and encouragement they need through literature, training, and direct engagement.

Donation of Cutting-Edge Equipment to Indonesia Publishing House

Demonstrating solidarity with its sister institution, the board also approved the donation of a Computer-to-Plate (CTP) machine to the Indonesia Publishing House (IPH). This state-of-the-art technology will enhance IPH’s printing capabilities, streamlining its operations and enabling it to produce high-quality printed materials more efficiently.

“Our mission extends beyond borders,” noted Joel Silva, vice president for finance of the house. “By sharing our resources with IPH, we are not only strengthening their capacity but also ensuring that the message of hope and salvation continues to reach thousands in Indonesia.”

The CTP machine donation reflects PPH’s commitment to global collaboration and support among Adventist publishing houses, ensuring that every institution is equipped to fulfill its role in spreading the gospel. This generous gesture also demonstrates PPH’s desire to pay forward the support it once received, embodying the spirit of mutual assistance and shared mission within the Adventist publishing network.

      Commitment to Mission and Unity

These two initiatives highlight PPH’s enduring commitment to the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s mission and its role in empowering sister organizations. By combining evangelism with tangible support, PPH exemplifies its dedication to promoting spiritual growth and operational excellence within the Adventist community.

As the world continues to change, PPH remains steadfast in its mission, finding innovative ways to advance the gospel message and support fellow institutions in their shared calling.
