On November 4, 2024, the Trapeang Ampil Adventist School opened its doors with an inaugural ceremony attended by more than 200 community members, leaders, and representatives from the Adventist Church in Cambodia (CAM). Pastor Hang Dara, CAM president, led the proceedings, marking the realization of a long-held dream for the mission, which has been dedicated to addressing educational needs across Cambodia.

With about 50 students currently enrolled in prekindergarten, kindergarten, and 1st grade, the school is set to play a vital role in local development, offering new educational opportunities for young children with bilingual languages, Khmer and English. Speaking at the event, the village chief expressed heartfelt appreciation, noting that the school was a blessing for the community and a promising step forward for local development.

The celebration was marked with gratitude and hope, as attendees voiced their enthusiasm for the school’s potential to enhance community life, especially in the education sector. For CAM, Trapeang Ampil Adventist School represents an ongoing commitment to promoting education, which CAM sees as essential to both the community's growth and the church's outreach efforts across Cambodia.

In his remarks, Pastor Hang Dara expressed heartfelt thanks to God and extended deep appreciation to Pastor Deane Jackson and his family for their generous support in funding the school's construction and operation.
