Massive Turnout at 'Earth's Final Conflict' Seminar in Central PH

      June 12, 2023

The highly anticipated Earth's Final Conflict mega evangelistic series, jointly organized by the Adventist-Laymen's Services and Industries (ASi) in Central Philippines (CPUC) and the Adventist Church in Central Visayas, began at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on May 28, 2023. The opening night attracted a diverse audience of over one thousand attendees and one thousand online viewers.

Through a series of enlightening sessions, the seminar sought to explore the profound concept of the Earth's Final Conflict. The initial topic, "Jesus Wins, Satan Loses," examined Jesus Christ's ultimate victory over the forces of evil. Dr. Alma M. Esparagoza, an instructor from the United States, delivered a captivating health lecture entitled "One Nation Under Pressure," which focused on the influence of hypertension on individuals' health.

Pastor Segundino Asoy, director of Sabbath School and Personal Ministries and ASi coordinator for the Southern Asia-Pacific region (SSD), stressed that the Lord does not compel anyone to make a decision. "The Lord has given us common sense. He has given us free will so that you can choose which path is right for you," he said. Pastor Asoy also reminded the congregation of the assurance of salvation for those who have embraced Christ, accepted His sacrifice on the cross, and claimed to be His children. He continues, "What is His assurance? 'Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'"

In an interview with Pastor Gaudencio C. Buque, Jr., director of health at the CPUC, he emphasized the practicality and scientific basis of the presented health instructions. He emphasized the significance of their role in the contemporary world and the exceptional nature of apocalyptic gospel preaching, which has been simplified for children's comprehension.

In addition, Mr. Jonathan Lamorin, vice president of social projects at SSD ASi, conveyed his delight and acknowledged the overwhelmingly positive response from attendees from various backgrounds. He attributed the audience's affecting experiences to the influence of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing the seminar's opening night's inspiring success.

Mr. Bernie Maniego, director of communication for the CPUC and coordinator for ASi, commended all the leaders, committee members, district pastors and leaders, and church members for their hard work. He expressed his optimism that the presence of the Holy Spirit will bring enlightenment, abundant blessings, and transformative experiences to everyone who attends the seminar, both in-person and online.

Mr. Maniego urged, "Let us not miss this opportunity to seek answers to life's greatest questions and find lasting peace in the embrace of God's love,"

In addition, the Earth's Final Conflict evangelistic campaign continued from May 28 to June 3, 2023, with a series of edifying sessions exploring the profound themes surrounding the ultimate conflict between good and evil.
