      August 29, 2025

Hope Channel International is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Neves as the new vice president for Advancement and Communication, effective August 28, 2025.

In his new role, Neves will lead Hope Channel’s global efforts in strategic communications, brand advancement, donor engagement, and media relations. His leadership will ensure that Hope Channel continues to expand its reach and strengthen its mission to share the gospel with the world.

“Sam Neves has demonstrated a deep commitment to innovation in communication and a passion for mission-driven media,” said Vyacheslav Demyan, president of Hope Channel International. “As we press forward toward our vision to reach one billion people globally with the message of eternal hope by 2030, Sam’s leadership will be vital in uniting our global network in advancing Hope Channel’s brand and focusing on mission. Please pray for him and his wife, Amy, and his three sons that God would bless them and empower them through the Holy Spirit for this big responsibility at Hope Channel International.”

Neves has broad experience in global communication and media. He has served in leadership roles within the Seventh-day Adventist Church, including nine years as associate director of Communication for the General Conference, emphasizing storytelling, branding, and digital evangelism. Previous to that, Neves served for 11 years as a church pastor in multiple churches in England. In 2024, he completed his PhD in Media and Digital Communication from the University of Westminster.

As vice president for Advancement and Communication, Neves will oversee strategic initiatives to enhance Hope Channel’s global brand visibility and develop meaningful connections with supporters and audiences worldwide. His appointment will contribute significantly to Hope Channel’s global communication and advancement strategies with its bold mission and vision.

“We will not stop until every human being alive has been given a chance to understand the eternal gospel, every village and every person for whom Christ has died,” said Neves.

Hope Channel International looks forward to the impact Neves will bring in this new capacity and invites partners, viewers, and supporters to pray for him and his family as they step into this new phase in their ministry.
