Communication leaders, Hope Channel studio managers, media personnel, and staff from across the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) convened on February 19-22, 2025, to strategize for the upcoming SSD Net Harvest 2025. The consultation meeting, themed “Broadcasting Hope: Expanding Our Reach—Impacting More Lives,” serves as a crucial preparatory session for what is expected to be one of the largest digital evangelistic initiatives in the division’s history.

The SSD Net Harvest 2025 will be the culminating event of the yearlong Harvest 2025 campaign, a division-wide effort that mobilizes churches, institutions, and media ministries to share the message of hope, love, and salvation across the 10/40 window. Recognizing the power of digital evangelism, Hope Channel and communication teams are taking a leading role in ensuring that this final phase reaches millions through multiple media platforms.

During the opening session, Hope Channel President and Communication Director of the Adventist Church in Northern Luzon (NLPUM), Pastor Sherman Fiedacan, emphasized the vital role of media in amplifying the mission. “We are not just producing content; we are sowing seeds of faith. The digital space has become a vast mission field, and through Hope Channel, we can reach people wherever they are,” Fiedacan said.

Pastor Chanmin Chung, the outgoing Vice President of Global Media and Engagement for Hope Channel International, honored the meeting with his presence, offering valuable support and insightful guidance on effectively executing this massive campaign and reaching the right audience within the division’s territory.

Chung highlighted key scenarios within media ministries, illustrating how brand architecture aligns programming across the division. He urged delegates to be intentional and open to embracing this strategy, emphasizing its role in identifying the church’s media priorities and tailoring ministry to meet the needs of its audience.

The consultation meeting provided an avenue for media experts and digital missionaries to brainstorm innovative approaches to online evangelism. Discussions focused on content creation, production strategies, social media engagement, and the integration of digital platforms to maximize reach and impact. Representatives from various Hope Channel studios across SSD shared their insights and collaborative efforts to enhance digital programming in preparation for the grand evangelistic series.

Pastor Michael Palar, SSD Hope Channel Coordinator, expressed his appreciation for the commitment of the communication and media teams, highlighting the importance of unity in mission. “This initiative is a testament to the power of collaboration. As we approach the culmination of Harvest 2025, let us remain faithful stewards of the media tools entrusted to us, using them to bring souls closer to Christ.”

The SSD Net Harvest 2025 will feature a series of online evangelistic programs, interactive Bible studies, and digital discipleship initiatives, harnessing the influence of television, social media, and streaming platforms to engage audiences across diverse cultures and languages.

As the consultation meeting progresses, participants are determined to refine their strategies, ensuring that every aspect of the campaign aligns with the mission to make Christ known in every home. With the combined efforts of Hope Channel and SSD communication leaders, the division is poised to launch a powerful digital evangelistic outreach that will leave a lasting impact in the mission field.

The SSD Net Harvest 2025 is set to go live later this year, bringing the hope of salvation to thousands through the power of media ministry.
