God’s Call: What is your Life Blueprint?

God’s Call: What is your Life Blueprint?

Pastor Gerson Santos, Associate Secretary of the General Conference, delivered a stirring message at the commitment service that wrapped up the SSD Year-End Meeting on November 28, 2023. The message, which was focused on exploring "God’s Call: What is Your Life Blueprint?" encouraged attendees to reflect on their life's purpose and how it relates to their spiritual journey.

Pastor Santos emphasized the profound idea that one's lifelong call for mission transcends the confines of retirement. He urged the congregation to consider their life as a comprehensive plan for personal and spiritual development, much like a well-structured blueprint. He challenged the audience to ponder how they could align this blueprint with their spiritual lives.

"What is your plan for my life today?" Pastor Santos asked, prompting attendees to shift their perspective. Instead of asking for divine blessings for their plans, he encouraged them to begin their day by seeking God's plan for their lives. This change in approach, he explained, can lead to a deeper connection with God's purpose.

In a world constantly changing, Pastor Santos reminded the congregation of their unique significance in God's eyes. He emphasized that each individual is specially assigned to fulfill their mission. He believed that achieving God's unique mission for each person was the true measure of success, rather than holding a high position or leading a sizable church.

"God is using you today but preparing you for tomorrow," he proclaimed. The message resonated with the audience, highlighting the importance of adaptability and growth within their spiritual journey.

"We must keep moving and thrive for the mission," Pastor Santos passionately asserted. While emphasizing the consistency of God's Word, he also acknowledged the evolving ways in which it can be presented and packaged. The message urged individuals to stay innovative and open to new ways of sharing their faith.

Referencing biblical passages such as 1 Kings 8 and Numbers 7:89, Pastor Santos underlined the significance of seeking God's presence as a space rather than a physical place. He encouraged attendees to engage in a dialogue with God, actively listening to His voice to nurture a receptive heart. Pastor Santos inspired the congregation to excel in whatever role they found themselves in, echoing the idea that being the best at whatever God has called them to do is the ultimate achievement.

The SSD Year-End Meeting left a lasting impact on those in attendance, fostering a renewed commitment to God's call in their lives. It challenged them to reflect on their life blueprints, reassess their daily plans, embrace change, and strive for excellence in their unique spiritual journeys. Pastor Gerson Santos' message resonated deeply, reminding everyone that their mission is not just a task for today but a lifelong commitment to God's plan.
