On July 7, 2025, during the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session in St. Louis, Missouri, delegates elected the Secretariat team that will serve the world church for the 2025–2030 quinquennium. The vote passed 1,854 to 26.

      The team includes:

      • Hensley Moorooven, Undersecretary

      • Gerson P. Santos, Associate Secretary

      • Gary D. Krause, Associate Secretary

      • Elbert Kuhn, Associate Secretary, AVS of the General Conference

      • Karen J Porter, Associate Secretary, IPRS of the General Conference

      • Selom Kwasi Sessou, Associate Secretary

      • Alexander Ott, Associate Secretary

      • These leaders will support the work of the General Conference secretary, providing oversight for the church’s global administrative structure. The Secretariat team plays a key role in ensuring smooth global operations and nurturing the expanding mission workforce of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The election is part of the broader decision-making process of the General Conference Session, held every five years to unite global delegates in worship, prayer, business meetings, and leadership selection.
