CPUC holds Legal and Corporate Leadership convention

      May 15, 2018

Central Philippine Union Conference(CPUC) leaders across all institutions gather to attend the first-ever Legal and Corporate Leadership Convention at Central Philippine Adventist College in Bacolod City on May 14-15, 2018. “I believe this is first among the three unions in the Philippines and probably first in SSD to hold such a timely and relevant convention,” says Elder Agapito Catane, president of Central Philippine Union Conference.

Atty. Rex Rosas, SSD Legal Services, discusses SSD Policy on Incorporated Institutions, Governance and Control, while Mr. Wendell Ganhinhin, a Certified Public Accountant, discusses Governance and Compliance. Dr. Hector Gayares of Bacolod Adventist Medical Center discusses Governance Stewardship, and, Atty. Randel Ty, an Adventist trial lawyer, discusses Governance and Laws.

Mr. Evin Villaruben, CPUC Legal and Corporate Services, leads in organizing this event to promote awareness of current issues affecting church leadership and to equip leaders with knowledge and skills to be able to navigate leadership challenges as they come.
