Andersson: Place Your Challenges in God’s Hands

At the onset of the 2nd day of the Annual Mid-Year Meetings of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, Pastor Audrey Andersson, Vice President of the General Conference, set the tone for the plenary by drawing inspiration from the narrative of Daniel. With profound insight, she underscored Daniel's journey and the transformative power of being chosen for a mission. Her reminder resonated deeply, emphasizing how Daniel's story serves as a compelling paradigm for every Christian, highlighting the impact of answering God's call to purpose.

In alignment with the global ecclesiastical endeavor known as 'Chosen for Mission,' Andersson illuminated Daniel's narrative, distilling its essence into key principles to galvanize leaders toward embracing God's summons to mission and purpose. Through poignant reflection, Andersson urged delegates to cultivate patience amidst trials, to persevere with grace through every challenge, to embody kindness and truth in their responses, to adopt an eternal perspective, to seek direct communion with God, and to ascribe all glory to the Divine in every facet of their lives.

“The mission is almost finished. God has chosen you and me. We have a unique job to do. Let us be faithful. Let's stand like Daniel and be his mouthpiece in places where He called us to serve,” Andersson said.

As the meeting draws to a close on its second day, prayers are lifted that the messages imparted and the actions sanctioned, under the guidance of the Divine, will further enrich and propel the endeavors of the church.
