Dr. Obed Jimenez, called to be president at the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), informed the AIIAS board on October 8, that he had to reverse his decision to accept the presidency of AIIAS for personal reasons.
Dr. Jimenez had visited AIIAS and, for the last four months, had been working with the General Conference to arrange details relating to the call. The AIIAS board has reconvened the presidential search committee.
In the meantime, Dr. Stephen Guptill will continue as AIIAS president.
