The Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has formally aligned with the global initiative “OneVoice27: Mission for All,” launching a comprehensive and coordinated evangelistic movement designed to unite millions of members in proclaiming the message of hope leading up to September 2027.
Approved in harmony with actions from the General Conference Annual and Spring Councils, the initiative positions the global Church to work “with one voice” in sharing the everlasting gospel, anchored in Revelation 14, through both digital and personal engagement across diverse cultural contexts.
The campaign commemorates the 2,000th anniversary of Jesus Christ’s baptism and the beginning of His earthly ministry. Church leaders emphasized that the movement seeks to give every individual a meaningful opportunity to encounter Jesus and grow as His disciple, reflecting the gospel commission outlined in Matthew 28:18–20 and Acts 1:8.
A Unified Global Vision: “All Things New”
The theme “All Things New,” based on Revelation 21:5, will serve as the public-facing identity of the initiative. Leaders say the theme captures the transformative power of Christ’s message and its relevance in a rapidly changing world.
The initiative focuses on three strategic mission areas: reaching communities through all forms of media, engaging individuals in spiritual growth pathways, and connecting them intentionally to local churches.
To ensure systematic implementation, the Church structured OneVoice27 into three phases: personal transformation through prayer and training, united preparation through resources and collaboration, and global proclamation through coordinated evangelistic efforts.
Launching Sabbath to Ignite Church-wide Participation
The movement will officially begin on September 5, 2026, designated as the “OneVoice27 Launching Sabbath.” On this day, local churches across the SSD territory will unite in a synchronized worship experience designed to introduce the vision and mobilize members.
During the service, members will be invited to commit personally to the mission by signing commitment cards. Church leaders will collect these cards as a symbol of dedication to participate in evangelism, prayer, and disciple-making initiatives.
Preparatory activities, including midweek distributions and prayer emphasis, will guide members in reflecting on their role in the mission before the official launch.
Commitment Cards Strengthen Personal and Collective Mission
The distribution of commitment cards forms a central component of the initiative’s grassroots mobilization strategy. Each member will complete two cards—one for submission and one for personal reflection—representing their commitment to the three core phases of the movement.
Local church leaders, particularly personal ministries directors, will oversee the implementation, ensuring that members receive continuous encouragement through Sabbath School classes and small group ministries.
This approach aims to sustain long-term engagement by reinforcing the “Each One Reach One” and “Keep That One” principles, emphasizing both evangelism and discipleship.
Hope Channel Positioned as Digital Mission Engine
Recognizing the vital role of media in modern evangelism, SSD designated Hope Channel as the primary content engine for OneVoice27.
Hope Channel will produce weekly Christ-centered programming aligned with unified themes, including theology, health, and family life. The network will also develop short, shareable digital content designed to empower members to participate in online evangelism.
In addition, churches will receive weekly content packages containing videos, discussion guides, graphics, and engagement prompts, enabling consistent messaging across the region.
Leaders noted that this strategy ensures both doctrinal integrity and accessibility, equipping members with simple yet effective tools for sharing their faith.
Mobilization Structure Strengthens Coordination Across Regions
To ensure effective execution, the Division established a structured mobilization system assigning liaison groups to each union. These teams will coordinate mission activities, strengthen communication between leadership levels, and provide training and resources to local churches.
Each group will also monitor progress and report developments, ensuring accountability and alignment with the overall vision.
SSD officers will oversee the initiative, while designated leaders and members within each group will serve as frontline coordinators in their assigned territories.
Young Preachers Project Develops Next Generation of Leaders
As part of its long-term vision, the initiative includes the OneVoice27 Young Preachers Project, a collaborative effort between the General Conference and SSD.
The project will feature seven young preachers delivering seven sermons across seven selected locations. Leaders say this initiative aims to nurture emerging voices in ministry while strengthening the Church’s preaching tradition.
By empowering young leaders, the Church seeks to ensure that the mission continues with renewed passion and contextual relevance.
Global Campaign Builds Momentum Toward 2027 Proclamation
A comprehensive global marketing campaign will support the initiative by leveraging public spaces, social media, and digital channels to generate widespread interest in the “All Things New” theme.
The campaign aims to direct individuals toward Bible studies, both online and in-person, ultimately preparing them for participation in evangelistic events.
September 2027 has been designated as the global proclamation and harvest month, when coordinated evangelistic activities will take place simultaneously across all divisions.
Post-Harvest Discipleship Ensures Lasting Impact
Following the harvest phase, the Church will organize celebration events at both local and global levels, highlighting testimonies of transformed lives.
Leaders stressed that the mission does not end with baptisms. Sustained discipleship programs will nurture new believers and integrate them into the life and mission of the Church.
This emphasis reflects a holistic approach to evangelism—one that prioritizes long-term spiritual growth and community belonging.
A Movement Toward a United Voice
Church leaders across the Southern Asia-Pacific Division expressed optimism that OneVoice27 will strengthen unity and deepen mission engagement among members.
By integrating prayer, media evangelism, Bible engagement, and local church involvement, the initiative seeks to create a unified global witness—one that echoes a single message of hope across cultures, languages, and territories.
As preparations intensify, the Church calls on every member to take part in the mission, reaffirming its commitment to share the message of Jesus Christ with the world—together, and with one voice.
