Adventist Church in Timor-Leste and Mountain View College Forge Partnership for Wholistic Education

Mountain View College (MVC) and the Adventist Church in Timor-Leste (TLM) have formally partnered to advance wholistic education through a virtual signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). This collaboration aims to provide comprehensive and value-based education to students from Timor-Leste, emphasizing educational excellence and mutual growth.

Leaders from both institutions participated in the virtual signing. Pastor Christopher Wallace Anderson, president of TLM; Pastor Inaciu Da Kosta, executive secretary; and Mr. Vic Jun Francisco, treasurer, expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the shared vision and mission of nurturing the academic and spiritual growth of students.

Chona A. Ramos, vice president for academic affairs; Winston C. Mojica, vice president for student affairs and services; and Charity Joy L. Sumagaysay, coordinator for the Office of International Cooperation and Networking, were among the important administration figures who joined Pastor Remwil R. Tornalejo's delegation. Their presence demonstrated MVC's dedication to international collaboration and educational advancement.

The MOA between MVC and TLM establishes a robust framework for educational cooperation, integrating academic rigor and spiritual values through the Adventist education system. This partnership aims to enhance the educational experience of students from Timor-Leste, providing opportunities for them to thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment. Both institutions are optimistic that this collaboration will pave the way for future initiatives, encouraging a dynamic exchange of knowledge and cultural enrichment, ultimately benefiting the broader educational community.
