A New Year's Message from Pastor Roger Caderma

As we come to the close of another year, we reflect on the journey we have walked together, both the joys and challenges. But as the Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13-14, "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." This verse speaks powerfully to our calling as we look forward to the new year ahead.

Paul’s words encourage us to keep our eyes fixed on the ultimate goal—the prize of eternal life in Christ. He reminds us that we cannot be weighed down by the past, whether by our failures or even our successes. Instead, we are called to move forward with faith and determination, trusting that God has prepared something greater for us in the days to come.

As we move into 2025, this call to “press on” is particularly meaningful. The Lord is leading us into a new season of mission and evangelism through Harvest 2025, our division-wide initiative. This initiative is not just another program, but a movement where each one of us is invited to participate. It is a mission of hope, love, and salvation—bringing the message of Jesus Christ to millions across our region.

Let us unite together, leaving behind any fear or uncertainty, and look forward with excitement and faith. Together, we will press on toward the goal, knowing that the Lord is going before us. May His Spirit empower each of you to participate in this grand mission, and may we continue to uplift one another in love and in service as we bring glory to His name.

Thank you for your commitment, and may God bless each of you as we begin a new year filled with hope, purpose, and faith in Christ. Happy New Year! Maranatha!
